Conference Cafe was on 4th street next to Jumbo Joe’s. I could write a dissertation on this place and the times I had in it. First, let’s discuss dollar wells. They had them daily from 5-7 I believe. It’s all a little fuzzy, then and now. Dollar wells were a gift from the gods. They were concocted from liquids that were supposedly safe for human consumption. We would double fist them and then the price would skyrocket to 2 dollars. This shirt is made from a bunch of fibers and twines and strings and stuff. It has no visible blood stains or rips. If you buy it, you’ll prove to everyone that you’re employed.
